  • Signs & Symptoms of a Concussion

Head injury or trauma can go unnoticed or ignored as a simple “bump on the head,” but maybe more severe than you think. Such an injury can go unnoticed, especially if the blow to the head was not witnessed by anyone or seemed trivial at the time. If you or a loved one experience headache, nausea, and vomiting, confusion, ringing in the ears, or are incredibly drowsy or cannot be woken up, then you may be experiencing a concussion. If a child or infant will not stop crying, cannot be consoled, or will not eat or nurse, these are signs that they also might be experiencing a concussion. Please seek medical attention immediately. The main signs and symptoms of a concussion include:

    • Headache
    • Temporary Loss of Consciousness
    • Confusion
    • Agitation
    • Amnesia
    • Nausea
    • Vomiting
    • Extreme Drowsiness
